President Paul Kagame on Tuesday evening attended the first-leg semi-final match of the UEFA Champions League in which defending champions and Visit Rwanda partner Paris Saint-Germain defeated Bayern Munich 5-4.
Kagame was present at the April 28 fixture at Parc des Princes, Paris, where PSG secured a one-goal advantage ahead of the return leg.

PSG’s goals were scored by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (two), Ousmane Dembélé (two) and João Neves. Bayern Munich replied through Harry Kane, Michael Olise, Dayot Upamecano and Luis Díaz.
The second leg will be played on May 6 at Allianz Arena in Germany.

PSG reached the semi-finals after eliminating Liverpool 4–0 on aggregate earlier this month.
Rwanda and PSG have been in partnership since 2019 under the Visit Rwanda visibility brand.
The agreement, renewed in 2025, runs until 2028 and includes branding at the club’s stadium and training facilities, as well as youth development initiatives such as the PSG Academy in Rwanda.
