A vehicle carrying Impessa WFC was involved in a road accident in Ngoma while the team was en route to a friendly match against NDABUC WFC.

The crash occurred as the team’s vehicle was about to enter Ngoma Stadium, when it was struck by a truck.

According to a source in Ngoma, eight players and one coach sustained injuries and were taken to Ngoma Hospital for treatment.

Impessa WFC compete in the Second Division of Rwanda’s women’s football league.
