Editor,

Please allow me to share with your reader, Mr. Sam Rwego and all your other readers how winning an award at ITB will help Rwanda’s tourism industry:

The International Tourism Bourse (ITB) is one of the largest tourism events in the world. It is held every year in Berlin, during the month of March.

The ITB Berlin is attended by all leading travel agents, tour operators and conference organizers from all over the world. The event is so large that you have to actually use the internal transport system to move around the fair grounds.

Importantly, also is the fact that a very large number of media persons, both print and electronic, attend this event. Winning the coveted "Best African Exhibitor Award” at ITB will automatically result in substantial media coverage which will make more and more people from around the world aware about Rwanda and develop a keen interest in visiting this beautiful country.

Furthermore, since all leading travel agents and tour operators attend ITB they also explore the possibility of including Rwanda in their tour programs and offering the destination to their clients. During the Fair, apart from officials from Rwanda

Tourism, one can also meet and interact with travel agents, tour operators and even hotel owners thereby facilitating the process of actually finalizing tour programs for the country and helping Rwanda’s tourism industry.

Kind regards
