In a statement released on April 16, SIINKO confirmed that the split was amicable and grounded in mutual respect.
"Following a period of reflection and review, SIINKO and RunUp have mutually agreed to conclude their professional relationship after three successful years,” the statement reads in part. "We are proud of RunUp’s growth and accomplishments during this time. This decision has been made amicably, and both parties will continue to support one another.”
The announcement comes after more than 10 months without a new music release from the artist.
During their collaboration, RunUp experienced notable growth, solidifying his presence in Rwanda’s music scene and building a loyal fan base.
He rose to prominence shortly after his debut in 2023, and further cemented his place in the industry with his hit single Tsunami, released in mid-2025. He is also known for tracks such as See, On God featuring Pallaso, and Delete.
While neither party has disclosed the specific reasons behind the split, the move marks the beginning of a new chapter in RunUp’s career, with fans eagerly awaiting his next steps as an independent artist.
