MP warns against listening to rumours

KARONGI – Member of Parliament Samuel Musabyimana, has criticized politicians who go around spreading ideology that threatens national security and give a wrong impression of the country. He has also assured residents of Karongi district of the country’s security.

KARONGI – Member of Parliament Samuel Musabyimana, has criticized politicians who go around spreading ideology that threatens national security and give a wrong impression of the country.

He has also assured residents of Karongi district of the country’s security.

Musabyiman, speaking during the district Women’s Day celebrations on Monday said, "Controversial politicians who claim that the country is no longer secure are just spreading rumours, there’s no political instability at all.”

He assured residents that last week’s escape of renegade former military chief Lt. Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa would not threaten the country’s security and condemned the recent grenade attacks in Kigali.

The legislator called on the residents to adhere to government’s developmental programs.
