IT is good to hear that only a few days after Darfur peace keepers were kidnapped, they were released by armed militias in Sudan’s Darfur region.

Agencies had said that unidentified gunmen had ambushed a UNAMID patrol on Friday afternoon. 64 Nigerian troops and one Rwandan Policeman had been kidnapped.

I am thankful that our troops are safe; I want to keep reminding them to keep vigilant, that place isn’t safe. We don’t want to get any more bad news.
