The 8th day of March, 2010 will be a day to be remembered by all Rwandans and friends of Rwanda. For the first time ever the Rwandan Flag will be hoisted and fly proudly at the Commonwealth Headquarters in London.
On this very special day please allow me to convey my sincere congratulations to His Excellency, President Paul Kagame and his Government for having steered the country out of darkness and gloom following the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and making Rwanda not only a land of a million smiles, but also a land where economic growth and development has served as an example for other nations to emulate.
Congratulations to all Rwandans.
