CONGOLESE international and TP Mazembe Captain Tresor Mabi Mputu is currently in police custody, Times Sport has learnt.

The 24-year-old striker is reportedly accused of stubbornly refusing to pay up his electricity bills.
Mputu is expected to lead Mazembe’s attack when the Congolese side entertains APR in the second round of the Orange Champions League.

Mazembe, who got a bye in the first round, ended their 46-year wait to win last year’s competition.  The forward, who has been linked with a move to English Premier League giants Arsenal in the past, has been described by former Cameroon and Congo coach Claude Leroy as being "the next Samuel Eto’o”.

The first leg will be staged in Kigali on March 18.
