Participants engaged directly with the facilities and systems, exploring the progress Rwanda is making in sustainable cooling and cold-chain management.

The second day of the UK–Rwanda Climate Partnership Conference, convened by the Africa Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Cooling and Cold Chain (ACES), focused on identifying critical gaps in cooling and cold-chain systems and proposing practical solutions.

The event, held under the theme "Catalysing Green Investment in Africa: The UK–Rwanda Climate Partnership,” aims to unlock green finance and scale up climate innovation across the continent.

After a guided tour of the ACES campus, participants joined breakout sessions covering key areas namely food systems and cold-chain competitiveness, one health, cooling and system integrity, workforce and certification infrastructure, and incubation and manufacturing readiness.
