Rayon Sports FC booked their place in the quarterfinals of the Rwanda Peace Cup after a dominant 11–0 aggregate victory over second-tier side City Boys FC.

The Blues had already secured a 2–0 advantage in the first leg of the round of 16 before running riot with a 9–0 win in the return leg at Kigali Pele Stadium on Tuesday.

Forward Yves Habimana was the standout performer, scoring four goals in the 3rd, 28th, 69th and 89th minutes.

Fall Ngagne added a brace in the 12th and 32nd minutes, while Joachim Vigninou, Jesus Sindi and Aziz Dao also found the back of the net in the 15th, 73rd and 80th minutes respectively.

The emphatic victory stands as one of the club’s biggest wins of the season.

Rayon Sports will face the winner between Police FC and Gicumbi FC in the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, Gorilla FC also advanced to the last eight after thrashing Muhazi United FC 6–0 on aggregate to set up a quarterfinal clash with AS Kigali FC.
