National carrier RwandAir has maintained the suspension of its flights to the Middle East as fighting between Iran, Israel and the United States enters a third day.

The airline first halted services on Saturday, February 28, when US and Israeli forces launched strikes on Iran. Since then, both sides have continued to exchange attacks, with US and Israeli forces targeting sites inside Iran, while Iran has launched missiles toward Israel and countries hosting American military bases in parts of the region.

"Due to the continued situation in the Middle East, all RwandAir flights to and from the region remain suspended until further notice,” the airline said in a statement issued on Monday, March 2.

The suspended services include one flight to Doha and three to Dubai.
