Tour du Rwanda’s golden sponsor, Amstel, is set to take centre stage as the race rolls into Rubavu for Stages Four and Five scheduled for February 25–26.

Following a thrilling solo victory by Dutch rider Jurgen Zomermaand in Stage Three, which concluded in Rusizi District on Tuesday, attention now shifts to Stage Four. The 127-kilometre stage departs from Karongi and finishes in Rubavu, with a demanding elevation gain of 2,586 metres.
Beyond sponsoring the stage winner’s award, Amstel has injected energy into the race through after-parties at every stop. Over the next two days, celebrations are expected to intensify in its brewery city.
"Expect a lineup of one of Rwanda&039;s biggest artistes at the Home of Amstel Rubavu. Two big festivals and brewery tours for our partners await,” said Amstel Premium Portfolio Manager Amos Muhunde.
Amstel-powered festivities kicked off at the opening ceremony, featuring Rwandan stars Ruti Joel and Kivumbi King, alongside DJs Tasha and Khizzbeats.
After Stage Two, fans in Huye enjoyed performances from popular artistes Bushali and Bwiza, adding to the excitement beyond the on-road action.

The Rubavu after-party will be held at Lakeside Bar, located near Rubavu Public Beach along the scenic shores of Lake Kivu.
A popular hangout spot for both locals and visitors, the venue offers sweeping lake views and a vibrant nightlife atmosphere. From the beach area, guests can walk or take a short moto-taxi ride along Avenue de la Production toward the town centre to reach the venue.
While Stage Four promises another fierce contest in the hills, the action will continue on February 26 with an 82-kilometre circuit race around Rubavu City, featuring a total elevation gain of 888 metres—ensuring the excitement carries on both on and off the road.
