AFTER the much publicized financial crisis that has marred Rayon Sport’s season, the club management is ready to step down.

The Blues will vote in a new executive this Saturday at Alpha Palace three months before the official expiration of the present committee’s term of office.

The move follows a series of events that have left club fans bitter with the management. One of them includes players boycotting training sessions for about eight days on grounds of not being paid salaries equivalent to two months.

The club’s Secretary General Olivier Gakwaya yesterday told Times Sport that the club has since settled one month’s arrears and that the players are aware of the club’s determination to clear their wages as soon as possible.

"They (players) have received December’s salary and we are doing everything to clear their January arrears as soon as possible.” Rayon is currently third on the league table with 24 points.
