Gloire Tambwe scored the lone goal as Rayon Sports beat Police 1-0 in the Rwanda Premier League at Kigali Pelé Stadium on Friday, February 13.

The win moved the Blues to fifth place with 32 points after 19 matches.

Tambwe struck in the 82nd minute to secure all three points for coach Bruno Ferry’s side.

Rayon Sports played well and created many chances in the second half, but struggled to make them count until Tambwe’s late goal.

Police, coached by Ben Moussa, have now lost back-to-back matches after defeats to AS Kigali and Rayon Sports.

They next face APR, and another loss would increase the pressure on the team.
