Malik Bertrand Ndayishimiye aka Bull Dog was born in Nyamirambo, Kigali. He did his primary school at Remera Catholic School and completed his senior six at the popular St.Andre secondary school in 2007. He is currently in his second year at the National University of Rwanda majoring in literature. Bull Dog’s love for music started at an early age of thirteen, where he could listen to rap music especially from his two favourite musicians-Tupac and The Notorious BIG. It wasn’t long before he started composing his own music. When he reached seventeen years of age he released his debut hit single ‘umunsi w’imeruka’.

He followed the success of his debut hit with ‘imfubyi’ in which he featured The Ben and thereafter collaborated with Diplomate to release ‘Umushonji uguye isari’. Both follow up songs enjoyed instant success more so for the latter.
In 2007, Bull Dog and five of his friends, Pfla, Jay Poly, Green P (The Ben’s brother) and Fireman, came together to form the most celebrated rap group in the country Tuff Gangz.
They have since released an album which is enjoying huge sales especially among the youth.
Bull Dog has so far released four singles of his own and plans on continuing to develop his music to regional level. He however says that despite his passionate love for music he will not compromise his studies.
When he is not doing music or reading his books, Bull Dog hangs around with his friends or is indoors watching movies.
