Jimmy Mulisa moves to Romania

JIMMY Mulisa has joined Romanian first division club Fc Ceahlaul Neamt Piatra from Belgian premier division side Ksv Roeselare. The 26-year-old Rwandan international has signed an 8-month deal with a club sitting bottom of the Romanian league table standing after spending the last five years playing in Belgium’s Jupiler league.

JIMMY Mulisa has joined Romanian first division club Fc Ceahlaul Neamt Piatra from Belgian premier division side Ksv Roeselare.

The 26-year-old Rwandan international has signed an 8-month deal with a club sitting bottom of the Romanian league table standing after spending the last five years playing in Belgium’s Jupiler league.

With 27 caps for the Amavubi Stars, Mulisa confirmed his transfer in a telephone interview with Times Sport.

A member of the Amavubi team that played at the 2004 Africa Nations Cup in Tunisia, the former APR winger said, "My contract (with Ksv Roeselare) expired and I wasn’t offered an extension, so I am free to join another club.”
