AS Kigali beat SC Kiyovu 4-2 at Kigali Stadium, Nyamirambo on Saturday, December 3. The win saw AS Kigali move to the top of the table with 23 points.

Erissa Ssekisambu scored the opening goal for Kiyovu in the sixth minute after eliminating AS Kigali defenders. Four minutes later, Thierry Ndayishimiye netted a second goal with a powerful header after a well taken corner from Ryad Nordien.

AS Kigali continued to push and in the 27th minute Fabrice Kakule Mugheni pulled one back.

The second half saw AS Kigali dominate for the most part until they levelled 2-2.

Now playing with fair and confidence, AS Kigali got their third and fourth goals through Hussein Tchabalala Shaban who netted in the 70th and 84th minutes, respectively.

Elsewhere, Sunrise FC beat Espoir FC 2-0 at Nyagatare Stadium while Rutsiro FC lost 2-0 against Police FC at Umuganda Stadium.
