Ndayishimiye set for pro trials in Uzbekistan

Rayon Sports midfielder Richard Ndayishimiye on Monday, January 19, left Kigali for Uzbekistan for professional trials with PFC Navbahor Namangan, a top tier team in the European country.
The Burundi international will undergo a 10-day trial with the club and, should he pass, he will be offered a contract .
Ndayishimiye, who has six months left on his Rayon Sports contract, could potentially receive a sign on fee of $50,000 (70 million Rwf) to join PFC Navbahor.
He will miss Rayon’s upcoming league match against Al Merrikh on January 21, 2026 at 18:00 CAT at Amahoro Stadium.
Ndayishimiye joined the Blues in June 2024 after signing a two-year contract from Muhazi United.
