Amagaju FC head coach Amars Niyongabo and the entire backroom staff have been sacked with immediate effect.
The Nyamagabe-based club announced the development on Monday, January 12, hours after their 8-0 humiliating defeat at the hands of Al Hilal at Kigali Pele Stadium.
"We have parted ways with head coach Amars Niyongabo and all his assistants,” reads the club statement.
Other coaches shown the exit door include assistant coach Pablo Nduwimana, fitness coach Abdallah Hategekimana and goalkeepers coach Hassan Jumaine.
Amagaju FC have had a torrid run of results this season and are currently in 17th place on the Rwanda Premier League table with 12 points, just one point ahead of bottom-placed Etincelles.
