CDF official cautions residents on projects

Ejide Rugamba, an official with the Common Development Fund (CDF) has called upon residents of Gicumbi district to be well focused in setting up projects if they want sustainable ventures.

Rugamba made a call during the meeting with the entrepreneurs and residents organized by CDF.

Muhima residents decry poor housing

The residents of Muhima sector in Nyarugenge district have called upon Kigali City Council to allow them renovate their houses or give them money to move elsewhere saying that it has been a year after evaluating their property and nothing has been done.

Muhima residents were ordered by KCC not to renovate or erect new structures after KCC did an evaluation of their property ahead of their probable expropriation and relocation.

According to KCC master plan the sector is supposed to be part of the Central Business District.  

Dead child found on the roadside

A dead infant was on Saturday found on the roadside dumped by unknown people in Kanjongo village in Nyamasheke district.

The area executive secretary, suspected a sex worker to have dumped the child.

The sector is renowned for having high number of sex workers in the district.
