Alexis Dusabe has postponed his concert which was scheduled for Jan. 10.

Apparently, news is leaking out that the concert lacked enough publicity and only very people had turned up for the show, which pressed the singer and the organisers to postpone the show to next Sunday, at Kigali Serena.

In an interview, Dusabe told The New Times that the concert, dubbed "Special Gospel Concert” was aimed at encouraging Rwandans to embrace the culture of loving their own music and supporting local artists by buying their compositions.

"If Rwandans can develop the culture of supporting local artists, the music industry would develop, because we’ve the talent but artists lack the financial support,” Dusabe said.

At the concert [Special Gospel Concert], people will only buy CDs Rfw5000 as the entrance fee.

Dusabe added; "Those who bought the CDs will be allowed to attend the concert on Sunday.”
