Despite all the various achievements of people in our society, I’m led to feel a certain lack among the majority of us-- a self-imposed limit in our confidence. This is an issue we seem to take for granted but has got a big impact on you, me and our country at large. I noticed the lack of confidence is intensely common in many occasions ranging from school, church and concerts to social gatherings.

This is an issue we seem to take for granted but has got a big impact on you, me and our country at large.
I noticed the lack of confidence is intensely common in many occasions ranging from school, church and concerts to social gatherings.
We are usually faced with tasks and challenges both official and casual and if you are keen enough, you’ll observe that people are always backing away when presented with challenges.
In most cases, they have no reasonable excuse. Usually the reply will be similar to this; ‘I don’t feel like it’, ‘I just can’t do it’, ‘I can’t bare all eyes on me’ ‘ask them; they are the confident ones, not me! Funny isn’t it?
We are just not aware that this low self-motivation influences our lives more each day. Eventually we end up living and operating from the side of life where opportunities are limited and no one is willing to trust your capability simply because there is no concrete evidence of it.
Yes, you might actually be right, maybe you can’t handle it. But what if you really can and you’re simply seating on your golden chance to shine?
We speak of doing all we can to discover our talents but how much have you tried? I know being confident is definitely not something easy for everyone attain.
Some people are naturally reserved and shy; but what I know is that we are our number one morale boosters. If we don’t break those boundaries of shyness and zero self- confidence, then sadly, we won’t be able to reach the wider world that awaits our exploration.
I want to suggest to you that when you evaluate yourself and see that you’re only giving excuses just to run away from the spotlight, and then dare to change this.
Dare to stand up for a challenge before you judge yourself as incapable. If you cannot take up this challenge, then kindly let us let those who are willing to shine, shine.
Don’t discourage them or mock them because they’ve earned it, you too can learn from it.
