As 2025 approaches to a close, Rwanda’s music industry continues to buzz with local artists dropping fresh anthems for the festivities for the music lovers to dance their way into 2026.
From one of Tanzania’s favourites Mbosso teaming up with Rwanda’s The Ben to hard lyrical bars from Trappish movement champion Ish Kevin, here are some of the fresh releases that shouldn't miss out on your weekend playlist:

Pawa remix by Mbosso Ft The Ben, Bien, Khaligraph Jones & Bill Nad
Arguably one of Tanzania's finest, musician Mbosso Khan released a series of remixes of his hit song ‘Pawa’ in which he features several top artistes East Africa including Rwanda's very own The Ben.
Others artistes featured in the track include Khaligraph Jones, Bien, Darassa, Bill Nass, and G Nako.
The Ben is featured in Pawa III, whereby Pawa II features Kenya’s Bien and Khaligraph Jones and Pawa IV has Darassa, Billnass and G Nako.
‘Pawa’ is already one of Mbosso’s popular songs, but to give his fans even more excitement, he decided to remake it together with these artistes.
Ish Kevin - Chat Chat
Released Friday, Ish Kevin’s Chat Chat is already stirring buzz around town after he shared a snippet on his Instagram page.
The rapper continues to update his fans playlists, with Chat Chat coming right after his latest collaboration with Arnaud Gray on Uko Nageze i Kigali, released on November 10.
The song was produced by Kwame Agger with the video production having King Kassidy’s touch all the way from Kenya.

Bruce The 1st - Izawe Feat. Juno Kizigenza

Since Bruce The 1st dropped his album Top Or Nothing (T.O.N), a few tracks from the 13-song project have started catching the public’s attention — notably Izawe featuring Juno Kizigenza.
Although the album, released on November 14, includes several of Rwanda’s top artists, it hasn’t yet received the level of buzz that was expected. Still, some songs are gradually gaining momentum, including Holy featuring Amazon and Ariel Wayz, NTP featuring Kenny Sol, and Save Me featuring Ariel Wayz.

Released on November 14, Kenny K-Shot and Kivumbi King’s Izina is another strong contender for your weekend playlist. The track is still fresh, vibrant, and steadily winning over listeners.
Izina dives deep into themes of love, regret, and reflection. Both recording artists unpack the emotional weight that comes after losing someone because of their own mistakes.
