Rwanda’s Amavubi and Sudan’s Al Hilal Sports Club played out a goalless draw in a friendly match at Amahoro Stadium on Sunday, November 16.

Adel Amrouche was using the match to test his local players while Al Hilal are preparing for the CAF Champions League group stage where they will play their home matches at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.

The Sudanese giants are also preparing to start playing in Rwandan Premier League as soon the Confederation of African Football give them an green light to compete.

Al Hilal were dominant from onset and enjoyed the bigger share of the possession but failed to break past a resilient Rwandan side.

Amrouche brought in Olivier Kwizera for Pierre Ishimwe in the second half. It was Kwizera’s first international match in Amavubi in two years.

Both teams made pushed each other beyond the limits but none managed to break the deadlock as the match ended goalless.

Amavubi players immediately left the camp and returned to their respective teams.
