According to RDF, the symposium aims to provide a platform for military leaders to exchange experiences, strengthen partnerships, and explore joint responses to emerging and persistent security challenges.
The gathering will reflect a continental commitment to developing adaptable, collaborative, and citizen-centred defence approaches in the face of evolving global security dynamics, RDF’s statement reads.
Participants are expected to include military leaders, defence experts, and key stakeholders in peace and security. The two-day event will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and bilateral engagements focusing on the role of unity and cooperation in maintaining stability across Africa and beyond.
