CORPORATE basketball champions MoD (Ministry of Defense) made light work of Access to stroll to their eighth successive league win on Sunday.

MOD thumped the league debutants 86-59 at Nyarugenge to consolidate their lead at the top of the table with 18 points.

With just one game to play, MoD, who are two points clear of Electrogaz are certain to retain their crown.

For Access, the defeat means that they moved to 12 points, four clear of bottom side Rwanda Commercial Bank (BCR) who registered their first win after beating Kigali Institute of Education (KIE) 66-50.

Meanwhile, Electrogaz wasted a great opportunity to close in on MoD following Sunday’s 68-72 defeat against Bralirwa.
