Games’ lib to be opened in Kigali

A games library where young people will be meeting with n aim of exchanging ideas through playing different video games is opening soon in Kigali. The development was revealed yesterday by an official from the II Zone project, Miguel Gasakure during a video games tournament that was held at Cercle Sportif in Kigali to launch the games library.

A games library where young people will be meeting with n aim of exchanging ideas through playing different video games is opening soon in Kigali.

The development was revealed yesterday by an official from the II Zone project, Miguel Gasakure during a video games tournament that was held at Cercle Sportif in Kigali to launch the games library.

"The games library will help the young ones to mingle and share ideas most especially during holidays and help them get something to occupy them,” said Gasakure during an interview with The New Times.

He added that the games would feature children and youth between the age bracket of 7-19 years.

The games library which will be located at Kigali Business Centre (KBC) will open its doors for business in January.

The launching tournament had brought together youth from around Kigali City and winners walked away with lots of prizes that included travel tickets, electronic tools and medals.
