Amapiano will find its home in Kigali this Friday, August 8, as South African stars LeeMcKrazy and Scotts Maphuma take the stage together for one night only. The duo will headline Summer In Kigali, an open-air dance event at Atelier du Vin, known for pairing deep grooves with fine wine and city views.

Fresh off a joint tour that sold out venues across London, the pair are bringing their rising global sound to Rwanda for the very first time at a show organised by Kigali's events company Smart Promotions and Solutions Ltd in Partnership with DJ Marnaud's MMT. The stage will be set in the venue’s outdoor parking space, roomy enough to dance from dusk to exhaustion.

Joining the amapiano headliners are Kigali’s own heavy hitters: DJ Toxxyk, Marnaud and Inno.

LeeMcKrazy, born Linda Mnisi, has carved out a space for himself as one of the genre’s most electric young voices. A Soweto native from Diepkloof Zone 5, the 26-year-old made his pivot from the football pitch to the recording booth, leaving behind a brief career with Mamelodi Sundowns to chase the music full time. Known for his signature phrase "bare ke Leemecke!,” he’s behind dancefloor anthems like Kokotela, Jealousy, Kwelanga 2.0, Ebasini and Eloyi.

Maphuma, born Mpho Lebajoa, made his debut in 2017 and has steadily earned a name for his vocal work and production edge. His hits Yebo Lapho, Shayi’Moto and Wishi Wishi blend electronic elements with traditional African rhythms, producing a textured sound that lives in both memory and motion.

Summer In Kigali is the latest entry in Atelier du Vin’s hot season agenda, aiming to bring regional and international sounds to Kigali’s fast-growing nightlife scene.

Tickets are Rwf25,000 for general entry and Rwf50,000 for VIP. Tables for five go for Rwf500,000, and a ten-seater table costs Rwf1,000,000.
