Shanel has released a new song called ‘Ubufundo’.
The song, which is already a hit on local radio stations, was released last week, and produced by famous music producer, Clement Ishimwe of Kina Music studio.

The Rwandan belle recently released a song called "Nakutaka”, featuring Kenya’s Kevin Wyre of Necessary Noise.

Shanel, real name Ruth Nirere, is a composer, songwriter, singer, dancer and actress.

The 24-year old, also completed shooting, ‘Matiere Grise, a film directed by Daddy Ruhorahoza.

She also acted in the film called ‘Avenir’, which is about the 1994 Rwandan Genocide against the Tutsi.

Shanel is a three-time nominee for the Pearl of Africa Music Awards.
