Rwanda and AS Kigali WFC forward Zawadi Usanase has completed her move to Tanzanian women’s top tier side Simba Queens.

It is reported that Usanase will be paid about $1500 per month throughout her one-year spell at the club.

Usanase, who will wear the number 19 shirt, is expected to depart Kigali on August 15, and head to Tanzania to prepare for the new season.

Simba Queens are also in final talks with Magnifique Umutesi Uwase who plays for Indahangarwa WFC.

Simba Queens are arguably among big teams in the East African region. The 2025 CECAFA championship holders have won the CAF Women’s Champions League four times.
