Rayon Sports have announced the signing of Burundian playmaker Abedi Bigirimana for a one-year deal.
Bigirimana became a free agent after parting ways with Police FC at the end of the 2024/25 season. He joins the Blues after days of talks which were primarily delayed by the payment of his signing on fee.
Rayon paid Rwf25 million to secure the services of the Burundi international who will be earning a monthly salary of Rwf1,500,000.
In the 2024/25 season, Bigirimana helped Police FC finish in fourth place, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists.
He also previously played for Kiyovu where he helped them finish in the second place twice, losing the title to APR FC on both occasions.
He will wear jersey number 21 at Rayon Sports.
Elsewhere, Serge Kabanda completed move to AS Kigali from Gasogi United on a one-year deal. The Citizens also signed Prince Rudasingwa on a permanent move which will keep him at the club until June 2026.
The club also appointed Djuma Dukuze as goalkeepers' coach. Dukuze has been serving a similar role at Dream Team Academy.
