FA to fine rough players

RWANDA football federation, Ferwafa has set fines for top flight players who will be booked in the 2009/10 national football league. A bookable offence worth a yellow card will be fined at Rwf. 1000 while a red card will go for Rwf. 2000 respectively.

RWANDA football federation, Ferwafa has set fines for top flight players who will be booked in the 2009/10 national football league.

A bookable offence worth a yellow card will be fined at Rwf. 1000 while a red card will go for Rwf. 2000 respectively.

The fines will be paid in accordance to the constitution which governs the football body in Rwanda.

Until last week, over 42 players have been cautioned by the referees. Amani Hussein (Amagaju) and Cyrille Pizorera (Police) have been sent off. 

Reigning champions APR had the least number of cautions-two yellow cards (Didier Kapet and Haruna Niyonzima).

Atraco, Rayon Sport, Etincelles, AS Kigali and Amagaju had three yellow cards each. Police and Marines had four while Mukura, Musanze and Electrogaz topped the list with five.
