I would like to welcome back the 200 RDF soldiers from the 9th battalion, who, on Saturday returned home after a year of dedicated service in the UN peace keeping mission in Darfur.

The brave soldiers were deployed in the troubled area mid October last year, and it’s to know that they are back good safely home.

As a proud Rwandan, I want to say "thank you for raising Rwanda’s international profile and helping those less fortunate than we are”.
