The construction of 548 housing units of Heza Estate in the Batsinda area in Kinyinya, Gasabo District is progressing, with sales starting before the end of 2025, according to Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB), which owns the project.

"Construction has already started. The estate is scheduled for completion next year, with sales launching this summer and prices starting from Rwf80 million," Claudette Rubangura, the project's commercial director, told The New Times.

Conceptualised as a middle-income neighbourhood, Heza Estate is touted as an environmentally friendly project.

The residential units range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom apartments, with retail and green spaces, Rubangura explained.

"The development also includes retail spaces, a kindergarten, basketball and volleyball courts, and green areas, designed to support a vibrant and family-friendly community,” she said.

Construction utilises precast concrete technology, which is known for durability and low maintenance of buildings.
