Nakumatt rewards TPF trio with shopping vouchers

Regional retail giants, Nakumatt Holdings Ltd stepped in to celebrate Alpha Rwirangira’s triumph by donating shopping vouchers valued at Rwf800,000 to all the Rwandan star performers at the Tusker Project Fame (TPF) competition.

Regional retail giants, Nakumatt Holdings Ltd stepped in to celebrate Alpha Rwirangira’s triumph by donating shopping vouchers valued at Rwf800,000 to all the Rwandan star performers at the Tusker Project Fame (TPF) competition.

During a fans meet and greet session at the 24-hours Nakumatt City Centre supermarket, at UTC Alpha Rwirangira, Nina Bola and Christian Rwirangira received gift vouchers with Alpha taking home a Rwf400,000 voucher while Nina and Christian received Rwf200,000 each. Alpha is the winner of the recently concluded TPF competition. 

Nakumatt’s Rwanda country Manager, Adan Ramata and Regional Marketing Coordinator Justus Nyaga presented shopping vouchers to the trio during a packed autograph signing session on Sunday afternoon.  

The Rwandese trio also revealed plans to record a joint album in coming months alongside an East African tour that will see them perform in Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania and Uganda. Alpha also lifted the lid of his plan to host a mega family concert on October 31, 2009 at the Amahoro National Stadium in Kigali.  

The Nakumatt event came at the tail end a busy public weekend schedule for Alpha which started off with a show at the top end B-Club on Friday evening, a performance at Kigali Business Centre’s Planet Club on all during which compatriots Nina and Christian shared the same stage with him.
