GET INSPIRED : What motivates you to get out of bed?

So you are stuck in that bed. Though not sleepy and have millions of errands to run, you simply can’t get out of bed! You have piles of thoughts running through your mind about what will become of you and what your future will be like.

So you are stuck in that bed. Though not sleepy and have millions of errands to run, you simply can’t get out of bed! You have piles of thoughts running through your mind about what will become of you and what your future will be like.

The morning conveys many weaknesses. Sadly, we end up waking up too late which only adds weight to our emotional breakdown. Waking up every morning is one thing and doing it consistently is another.

The morning exposes all the skeletons in our closets, reminds us of how we are and all the times that we have failed.

Tucked in bed, facing upwards, it has never been easy for many to figure out the expectations of the new day.

People are hell scared of what will become of the brand new day especially when the previous was unfair. Bad and uncertain as it seems, it’s a must that we wake up.

No matter where we are, waking up is the first step towards having a splendid and rewarding day.

The earlier one wakes up determines how straight they think that day. For late risers, they end up losing focus for the whole day.

And as you sleep on, the world immensely develops only to remember when it’s too late and it takes you forever to catch up.

To an ambitious person with dreams, all those nightmares about current problems and weaknesses can never pull them down. They will wake up to face the challenges that the new day brings.

If you still get stuck in that bed, consider these as motivation to wake up.

Get something to live for. It might be kids, parents or your carrier. If you live for something, the bells of how their future will be won’t give you the guts to stay in bed.

"Whenever I consider staying in bed, I picture my children homeless and lacking,” says Odda Nsabimana, a Breast Cancer Victim. Being diagnosed with cancer and expecting death doesn’t carry the same weight like living for her children.

Many diagnosed people stay in bed sulking and waiting for death. But if one focuses on the future and what they live for, they will never quit surviving.

Cherishing the best future should also let us leave that bed. Staying in bed is equal to letting someone shape your future.

You’ll either get fired over late coming or get low grades which will affect your future, and if you wake up early, you’ll have all the time in the world to mould your future through thinking straight and finding ways to achieve your goals.

"A bright future comes with sacrifice, one of the things to be sacrificed is morning sleep,” advises Robert Gateja.

To motivate you to wake up, do something that you love most after waking up. Listen to music, go jogging or it can be a talk with someone you cherish. And if you do this whole heartedly, you’ll be looking up to it everyday.

Every day is different and never comes back. Though you had a bad yesterday, you can have a better tomorrow.

You can make the best out of the day. Today determines the future. Feeling depressed and waking up late will only worsen the already bad situation.

And as we focus on having something to wake up to, we should always keep in mind that a brand new day is yet another chance to live.

Many weren’t that lucky to have another day added to their lives much as they needed it.

Let’s utilize the day like it’s the last day of our lives. After all we don’t know what tomorrow will bring.
