Skol Malt, through its ‘100 Experience’, is set to sponsor a friendly football match for Rwandan youth this Sunday, June 15, at the Skol pitch in Nzovu.
The much-anticipated game will bring together social media influencers—particularly those on X (formerly Twitter)—who are passionate fans of Spanish football giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Obed Ngizwenayo, the event organizer and captain of the Barcelona supporters’ team, says the match aims to build stronger bonds among influencers who typically connect online.
"We are well-known on X, but we haven't been closely connected as a community. As we continue advocating for our country through digital platforms, we felt the need to organize a football match to deepen that sense of unity," reflected Ngizwenayo, who is famously known as 'Sane-19' on X.

Prince Nshizirungu, captain of the Real Madrid fans team, hailed Skol as a youth-centered brand that invests in initiatives promoting connection and positive engagement among young people.
"We&039;re playing football not just for fun, but to share ideas on how we can contribute to our country’s development using our digital voices. We're grateful to Skol for supporting this vision,” said Nshizirungu, also known as Uzagende kuri Moto on X.
He added that the event is free to attend for fans who are active on X, and the match will be streamed live on YouTube via the bridge_Sport channel.
