Female student emerges best writer

Gentille Mahirwe a student at Institute Sainte Famille Nyamasheke was Friday awarded Rwf 200,000 after emerging best writer in the annual writing school competitions organized by the National Post Office. Speaking during the colourful event at Top Tower hotel, Celestine Kayitare, Director General, National Post Office, said the competition is aimed at creating a culture of writing amongst students.

Gentille Mahirwe a student at Institute Sainte Famille Nyamasheke was Friday awarded Rwf 200,000 after emerging best writer in the annual writing school competitions organized by the National Post Office.

Speaking during the colourful event at Top Tower hotel, Celestine Kayitare, Director General, National Post Office, said the competition is aimed at creating a culture of writing amongst students.

"This is an encouragement to improve writing skills and build a writing culture amongst students,” Kayitare said.
He said that the competition gives chance to all students from schools all over the country

The topic for the concluded competition was on environment protection.
