AFTER reinforcing the squad with a number of big name signings, Kiyovu who were recently tagged the ‘Manchester City’ of Rwanda have further indicated their intentions of challenging the ‘big boys’ next season by bringing in Jean Marie Ntagwabira, one of Rwanda’s most celebrated coaches.

The 45-year-old year, who had taken a break from football, was a big hit at APR and Atraco, winning league trophies with both clubs.

In a telephone interview in Times Sport, Ntagwabira said it is very difficult to starting making big promises.

"I can’t promise any thing right now but the club has a good squad with a mixture of youth and experience, so we shall see how things go,” he said.

"It is true that the club fans are frustrated after a long trophy drought but that is why I’m here, to try and end that run.

In his coaching career, Ntagwabira has won eight titles; four league titles; three with APR and one with Atraco, three Amahoro Cups and one Cecafa title with APR.

The Nyamirambo based side has also signed Bonaventure Hategikimana a.k.a Ganji (Rayon Sport), Eric Serugaba (APR), Shyaka Jean (Atraco), Karim Bigirimana (APR), Donatien Tuziyere (Atraco) and Pappy Nkunda (Kibuye).The new season starts next Saturday.
