THE Win in Africa with Africa high-level FIFA referring course organised by Rwanda football association (Ferwafa) in collaboration with the World Football Governing Body (FIFA) starts this morning at Alpha Palace hotel.

The one-week course, which has attracted about 30 referees from the national league, winds up this Saturday.

According to Ferwafa’s Chief Executive Officer Jules Kalisa, the course will among other things center on interpreting the laws of the game.

The referees and assistant referees selected by Ferwafa include; Hudu Munyemana, Issa Kagabo, Richard Twgirayesu, Janvier Kiroha, Louis Ruragirwa, Martin Ntwali, Francois Gasengayire, Louis Hakizimana, Abdu Hakizimana, Emery Kamanzi, Evode Ntizimira, Balthazar Ahishakiye, Edouard Bahizi and Abdul Twagirumukiza.

The assistant referees include; Felicien Kabanda, Emmanuel Mugenzi, Theogene Ndagijimana, Eric Bayingana, Ahmed Niyitegeka, Honore Simba, Corneil Hategekimana, Ignace Itangishaka, Jean Paul Munyaneza, Raymond Nonati Bwiliza, Jean de Dieu Bizimana, Serges Mwambali, Rabbin Karambizi and Claude Nsabimana.

Win in Africa with Africa has a number of specific and complementary measures that will all contribute towards improving the quality of football in Africa in the long term.
