Rwanda U20 won their second game at the women’s IHF trophy/Zone V championship after beating Tanzania 45-25 at Old Kampala Sports Arena on Wednesday, May 7.
Aphrodice Sindayigaya’s girls were leading their Tanzanian rivals 22-10 at the break. They continued where they stopped and convincingly took home the win with 45-25.

It was Rwanda’s second win after they thrashed Djibouti 69-4 in the opening game on Tuesday, May 6.
With a 2-0-win record, Rwanda now leads Group A which also includes Kenya, Djibouti and Tanzania.
Meanwhile, the U18 team had a break on Wednesday before returning to action against Burundi on Thursday.
The Zone 5 women's youth and junior tournaments of the IHF Trophy Africa serves as qualification event for the Continental Phase of the IHF Trophy Africa.
