I would like to recommend the Rwanda Defence Forces (RDF) contingent in Sudan because it has made us proud as a country due to its hard work in trying to protect the civilians in the troubled region of Sudan.

The most outstanding act is the way they portray the highest degree of discipline in their operations, a thing very much rare among many peace keeping forces around the country.

We have had lots of examples where peace keeping forces have become a liability by indulging in looting and raping the women they were supposed to protect.

But RDF has been doing well as far as discipline is concerned and I believe it is the reason why they got a nod from President Obama who described their accomplishments as "remarkable.”

I would like to encourage them to continue portraying that kind of Image and make us more proud.
