World Taekwondo (WT) President and Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation (THF) Chairman Chungwon Choue will visit Rwanda from May 5 to 8, the local federation has confirmed to Times Sport.

This will be his first visit to Rwanda since he took office in 2004.

The purpose of the visit, according to Rwanda Taekwondo Federation, is to observe and support the ongoing Taekwondo activities in Rwanda’s refugee camps, particularly in Mahama Refugee Camp.

During the visit, Choue will meet Ministry of Sports officials, and representatives of the Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee and International Olympic Committee.
