KCB intensifies market drive

RUSIZI – The Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) has intensified its district promotional campaigns aimed at attracting more clients. Last weekend, the bank organised a football match between Espoir FC of Rusizi District and Bukavu Dawa FC from Bukavu town in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

RUSIZI – The Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) has intensified its district promotional campaigns aimed at attracting more clients.

Last weekend, the bank organised a football match between Espoir FC of Rusizi District and Bukavu Dawa FC from Bukavu town in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). 

According to Aretha Rwagasore, the bank’s official in charge of Marketing and Public Relations, the match at Cyangugu Stadium was aimed at creating awareness about KCB’s entry into the banking business in Rusizi District.

"The main objective of this football match is to create more awareness among the people in Rusizi about our new branch that will very soon be inaugurated in this district,” Rwagasore said.

At the match, several individuals opened their bank accounts and clients were given promotional materials.

The bank’s Rusizi branch has managed to accumulate around 300 accounts, according sources.

Bukavu Dawa Football club emerged victorious after thrashing Espoir FC 2 goals to one.
