APR academy coach Rene Kalimunda is very confident his side will be crowned champions of the youth football tournament that is scheduled to start tomorrow at Nyamirambo stadium.

Kalimunda said that his boys are well prepared after adapting to training methods used by famous Academies in Europe.

"We use the training methods of European Academies, both physically and psychologically.

We pay attention to everything they eat, how to build up their physique and how to increase their speed, both in play and thinking, and I’m very confident the boys will triumph,” said the former Rayon Sport manager and then coach.

Apart from Le Messenger from Burundi that pulled out of the event yesterday, all the other teams were set to arrive yesterday by press time.

The tournament will be graced by five teams which are: Hormisadallen Primary school Primary school (Uganda), Lion (Rwanda), Impala (Rwanda), Nyiragongo (Congo) and the hosts APR.
