Mukura Victory Sports striker Boateng Mensah Agyenim has promised to help the club win the 2024/25 Rwanda Peace Cup.
Boateng was on target as Mukura Victory Sports defeated Amagaju 2-0 in the second leg on Tuesday, March 4, to complete their comeback which forced the game into the penalty shootouts.
The Huye-based side went on to win 3-2 on penalties to book a semifinal berth and Boateng is dreaming of helping the team to win the cup.

" As we have reached the semifinals, the main objective is to go all out and win the tournament. We have good players and we can achieve that target," the Ghanaian told Times Sport.
Reflecting on the result, Boateng said that it was nice as they had to come from 2-0 down and eliminate Amagaju.
" It was a good game as we came in for qualification and we did it. We were 2-0 down from.the first leg, so our determination was to qualify and we fought hard to achieve it."
Boateng tasted success with his former club Dreams FC as he propelled them to win the Ghana FA Cup in 2023 where he was the top scorer with 7 goals. He was also key as they went on to reach the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
"Two years ago, I won a similar competition with Dreams FC in Ghana and we went all the way to reach the CAF Confederation Cup semifinals. I see similarities and I believe it can be replicated,"
Mukura VS won the Peace Cup in 2018 under Burundian coach Francis Haringingo after defeating Rayon Sports 3-1 on penalties in the final.
They will face either Rayon Sports or Gorilla FC in the semifinals of as a place in the finals beckons.
