Rwanda Basketball League side Patriots have signed American point guard Elliott Cole for a one-year deal.

The 29-year-old previously featured for teams in the United States and Northern Africa.

Standing at 1.80m, Elliott most recently played for Al Ittisalat in the Egyptian Super League.

Patriots acquire the point guard as they look to bounce back from a shaky start, with one win and one loss which was against United Generations Basketball (UGB).

Currently, Patriots are in fifth place with 3 points, three behind APR who lead the league with a 3-0 record.

The club returns to action on Friday, February 7 when they take on Tigers at Lycee de Kigali gymnasium.
