Rwanda’s other Group C opponents Egypt moved up five places to 33rd in the world and 4th in Africa while Algeria was unmoved and is still on 47th position and 7th in Africa. Zambia remained on 77th and 17th in Africa.

In the Cecafa region, Uganda maintained its grip at the summit for a fourth consecutive month and they are placed on 75th. Sudan is second on 91st position while Tanzania moved four places to 93rd position.

The CAF rankings are topped by Ivory Coast, followed by Cameroon, Gabon and Nigeria is fifth.

Almost the entire top 20 of the latest edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking remains unchanged.
