Ugandan striker Charles Bbaale may be on the move back to his home country, with clubs like SC Villa and Vipers SC reportedly expressing interest in signing him.
The forward, whose contract with Rayon Sports has six months remaining, has struggled for regular game time following the arrival of Senegalese striker Fall Ngagne.

Bbaale has found it difficult to secure a spot in the Ugandan national team ahead of the upcoming AFCON 2025, as his form has been affected by his reduced role at Rayon.
Ngagne, in particular, has been in exceptional form, scoring nine goals in 15 games, contributing significantly to the team's position at the top of the league table. This has made it challenging for Bbaale to find regular playing time.
Times Sport understands that SC Villa, his former club, and Vipers SC have shown interest in bringing Bbaale back to Uganda. The player has reportedly requested Rayon Sports to release him.
Bbaale joined Rayon Sports from SC Villa in July 2023.
Rayon Sports, meanwhile, are looking to beef up their attacking options and are tracking potential new signings, including Ugandan striker Fahad Bayo and Burkinabe international Allasane Zeba.
