Workers at the UTEXERWA. Rwanda is a magnet for investors

Editor,

Since the terrible period of 1994, the country has stepped ahead with positive economic and investment adjustments. A good investment climate has been encouraged by favorable government efforts and mechanisms which have put the country (Rwanda) on the same platform with other investments destinations worldwide.

Rwanda has attracted a rising number of multi-nationals investments in both services and manufacturing sectors. New technologies are throwing up new business models.

Financial technologies are penetrating faster and leading to development, especially of the credit markets.

Some African countries have been affected by the cancer of corruption which has hindered their investment climate and economic growth but not Rwanda.

It has got adequate anti-corruption shields to protect investors.

Furthermore, Rwanda is blessed by a good transport network, both by road and by air. Rwanda is renown in the region for having some of the safest streets in the world.

A secure stay is guaranteed for investors and other visitors in Rwanda.

Therefore I wish to thank the Rwandan government for putting in place all the necessary regulations that ensures a predictable and secure investment environment.
